Reporting in to the Talent Acquisition Manager you will be working alongside another Talent Acquisition Partner and Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

The Talent Acquisition team serves all areas of the business in recruiting at all levels for positions across the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will:


Work collaboratively and build strong relationships with the Group Heads and Resourcing Managers to implement the talent acquisition approach to enhance MTC's visibility, in key recruiting markets.

Manage day to day management of all levels of recruitment.

Develop relationships with the Hiring Managers to understand the present and future hiring requirements.

Use a variety of direct sourcing methodologies to provide talent pipelines and increase the MTC employer brand.

Work with the central MTC teams to provide a great manager and candidate experience.

Track goals, metrics, and performance of the hiring process; regularly communicate status and results through weekly reporting.


Work in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Manager to drive internal projects on candidate attraction, including supporting the embedding of our Employee Value Proposition [EVP] into our attraction strategy.

Plan and execute selection processes to include: Assessment Centres, conduct interviews and screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.


Maintain a prominent level of market awareness and best practice, advising the business on specific trends and updates that will affect recruitment.


Be responsible for:


An innovative approach to hiring and utilise all sourcing tools available and provide creative ideas on sourcing strategies when required.

Consistently achieving results with a focus on direct delivery, using a commercial mind-set.


Positively engage and promote our Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion [E, D & I] through the recruitment process and be an advocate and champion of our E, D & I strategy, coaching stakeholders to understand, interpret and engage with this where appropriate.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who is/has:
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

At least 5 years of experience in Recruitment, out of which at least 2 years as an in-house Recruiter.


Excellent team player, able to meet both individual and team targets whilst working as part of a team, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Experience in vetting candidates before submission to hiring managers.

Managing candidates both through and out of the process, using our recruitment system

Dealing with the offer process, often negotiating offers within the parameters outlined by the hiring managers.

Exceptional Social Networking knowledge and proven track record of using different mediums to build candidate pipelines including LinkedIn.

Ability to build effective and long term client relationships and demonstrable experience in building credibility with key stakeholders.

Good project management/organisational skills with strong attention to detail, people, systems and processes.

A thorough understanding of current employment regulations and compliance issues.

Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools and HR systems including Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) at an expert level.


Maintain a prominent level of market awareness and advising the business on specific trends and updates that will affect recruitment now and in the future.


Improve hiring manager's capability with the interviewing process and networking through recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and at events in person.
