Senior Payroll Administrator

Salary on appointment will be £29,605 per annum, with an annual increment up to £36,024 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our busy Payroll Team to support the Payroll Management Team in the day to day running of the Payroll function.
Key duties of the role include calculating payments to staff in accordance with UEA terms and conditions, overseeing the day to day running of the Payroll function for external customers, deputising for the Payroll Manager when required and undertaking/providing training on payroll systems, processes and legislation.
You will have a good standard of education with passes at GCSE, or equivalent, at Grades A-C including Mathematics and English, extensive experience of working in the payroll office of a large organisation with high volumes of payroll processing, experience of working with a wide range of contractual terms and conditions in a diverse and complex organisation, excellent IT skills including payroll software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and experience of working effectively and professionally with external organisations.
This full-time post is available from 1 November 2024 on an indefinite basis.

The University holds an Athena Swan Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality.
