Finance MSc Programme Suite

Job Summary

We are seeking to recruit a Programme Coordinator to work within the Finance suite of programmes. The suite recruits approximately a third of all admitted Business School students each year and has a large international representation.

Duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of effective and efficient administrative support to the Finance suite of programmes ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the modules throughout the academic year.

Sharing our enthusiasm and ambition to deliver programmes of the highest quality, you will have proven experience of supporting a variety of stakeholders; of managing a demanding workload effectively and of responding flexibly to opportunities and challenges as they arise.

Essential requirements

Excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills are vital for this role, as is a strong customer focus and excellent attention to detail. You will demonstrate exemplary administration and IT skills. You must be a strong team player with the ability to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision. You should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable balancing multiple deadlines and prioritising effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a pro-active attitude and ability to juggle several tasks confidently. You should have experience working with MS Office and large amounts of data, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Previous experience of working in higher education is desirable but not essential.

Further Information

This is a full time and open-ended position. All appointments will normally be made at the bottom of the salary range.

There is a second role with the same job description but on a six month contract basis. Please indicate in your supporting statement if you would also like to be considered for this position.
