An opportunity has arisen for a permanent post as the Divisional Manager for Mental Health within the Mental Health & LD Service Group. The successful applicant will join an experienced senior management team. The Divisional Manager will be accountable to the Associate Service Director.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply

Main duties of the job:

The role is key to the safe and effective delivery of quality mental health care for all ages. The Divisional Manager will have responsibility for a mental health division that contains Older People Services, Adult Services, Substance use Services and Children & Adolescent Services.

The Divisional manager will contribute to creating a strategic vision for the services managed and developing a plan for achieving that vision.
