Job Description

What will you be doing?

As an Electromechanical Engineer you will join ourteam in Cambridge to support our activities within the Defencesector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Design, develop and test 3D electro-mechanical components within trunking and spacing in compliance to international electrical standards.Produce technical documentation in relation to the electro-mechanical components designed.Verifying and Validating electro-mechanical drawings with support on design reviews.Providing support on creation of BOM's, preliminary design and critical design reviews.Who are we looking for?An autonomous engineer with strong experience in the development of electrical systemsA team player, being able to manage and work with various stakeholders and departments.You are...Passionate about engineeringresult-orientedproactive

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar5+ years of experience within the field of Electrical designUnderstanding and application of BS7671 or Canadian Electrical codes (CSA) equivalent.Previous experience on working with CAD tools such as Autodesk Inventor or similar.Ideal exposure to Automotive or Heavy vehicle based productsAbility to achieve BPSS Clearance
