Providing full test coverage for electromechanical technologiesThis scientific-engineering start-up are busily working on their first-generation technology incorporating automation and robotics.

These are a mix of electromechanical and software, and combine off-the-shelf products with in-house developed technology.

As part of their product delivery team, they are looking to recruit a Product Test Engineer who will work on product development and test.

Key aspects of this role will be to develop rigorous and comprehensive test environments and frameworks to ensure products meet regulations and standards.

RequirementsDegree in Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering. Other disciplines would be considered.

Demonstrable proven industry experience in testing of complex electromechanical systems within a product development environment (this could include PCBs, microcontrollers, motor controls, actuators, fluidics etc...).Understanding and experience of reliability test methodologies, relevant documentation and generating test protocols and reports.

Familiarity with software tools used to log files and develop test scripts.
Due to the nature of the work, this role would be based onsite at their labs / workshop. On offer is an excellent remunerations package including private medical insurance and significant employer contributions to pensions.
