What skills and experience we're looking for

The main duties and responsibilities of thispost include:

• Teaching all aspects of Mathematics (KS3& KS4)
Developing and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum Using appropriate teaching and classroom strategies to motivate students and enable their progress Contributing actively to the policies and aspirations of the department and school Working with other Maths Faculty Managers on all aspects of running the department including developing the curriculum and mastery teaching. The specific management responsibilities for this post are flexible, with the exact nature of the responsibility to be decided later, depending on the successful candidate's areas of interest and expertise.
The successful candidate should be able todemonstrate:

• An ability to teach Mathematics
The potential to be an outstanding leader Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy Personal ambition and the capacity for hard work

Anexciting opportunity has arisen within the Mathematics Faculty for an experienced,inspiring, enthusiastic and talented teacher to join the team as an AssistantHead of Mathematics. The faculty is diverse,vibrant and highly successful; consistently performing well in internal andexternal reviews. We offer a range of qualifications including Entry LevelQualification, GCSE Mathematics, GCSE Statistics, Level 2 Further Mathematics,Level 3 Mathematical Studies, A Level Mathematics and AS Further Mathematics.The faculty is extremely supportive and welcoming, working together to helpeach other and our students succeed.
