Our lovely rural school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support:

Work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require.


Develop learning plans:
Assist in the creation and implementation of personalized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs.

Collaborate with staff:
Work alongside teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education.

Support classroom activities:
Facilitate an inclusive learning environment by assisting with classroom activities and managing any challenges that arise.

Monitor progress:
Track and report on student progress, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth and development.

Foster independence:
Encourage and support students in developing skills that promote independence and self-confidence.

Requirements:

Experience:
Proven experience working with SEN students, particularly those with high levels of need.

Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field.

Passion:
A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.

Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.

Patience:
A patient, empathetic approach to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by SEN students.
