Your new role
Working as the Diversity & Inclusion Senior Manager, your role will play a pivotal part in the delivery of the organisation's ambitious Diversity and inclusion strategy to embed EDI into their external-facing programmes and activities. You will be a D&I Specialist, with in-depth knowledge to deliver advice and guidance across a range of topics. Duties include but not limited to:

Oversee, implement, monitor and evaluate our overarching strategy to embed D&I across our programmes on an ongoing basis and ensure that our approach iterates where necessary as the work develops.Work to embed diversity and inclusion across the Academy's external programmes and activities. You will use your extensive diversity and inclusion knowledge and experience to provide support, advice, guidance and leadership to senior stakeholders and other colleagues across the Academy on individual projects and issues.Provide leadership of the Academy's newly launched and first D&I Advisory Service within the D&I team. Provide individual advice on more complex D&I matters to other teams where required. You will also work in partnership with the People team, operations, communications teams and others to ensure that we are building an inclusive culture and embedding D&I best practice in our operations.

What you'll need to succeedIn depth current knowledge of diversity and inclusion within a large complex organisationProven knowedge of EDi related legislation, policies and best practiciesStrong and proven project management skills and experience of managing complex projects.Proven track record of effectively collaborating with and persuading top-tier executives to establish and execute strategies in line with EDI-related Key Performance Indicators.Demonstrated expertise in the oversight, documentation, and assessment of the results pertaining to principal EDI goals.Possesses the adaptability to serve as a proactive advocate for transformation, offering strategic contributions, foreseeing and preparing for shifts, and pinpointing solutions that align with business objectives.Extensive project leadership experience, with a history of successfully overseeing organization-wide initiatives and articulating their significance.
