About Star Radcliffe Academy
Star Radcliffe Academy will be a five-form entry, 750 place, 11-16 secondary school in Radcliffe. The school will open in September 2024.
During its opening year, the school will admit an intake of 150 pupils in Year 7. The school will continue to admit a new intake of Year 7 pupils at the beginning of each academic year.
Like all Star schools, Star Radcliffe Academy will have a leadership specialism. Who we're looking for
We're looking for a highly organised individual to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.
You will have:
An understanding of the main Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in a school environment.Experience of carrying out specialist building maintenance work, within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson.Experience of keeping work records.The ability to undertake a range of caretaking and cleaning duties.The ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date.About Star AcademiesStar Academies is a high-performing multi-academy trust that runs more than 30 primary and secondary schools.
