About the Role
The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of our Readymix plant, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a key leadership role that requires strong supervisory and management experience, as well as a deep understanding of production processes and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Readymix operational team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement site and process improvements to drive operational performance and efficiency.
- Manage daily production, including operational costs, stock control, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with business policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Health and Safety, Procurement, and Logistics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and industry bodies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plant operations, with a strong understanding of production processes and risk assessments.
- Previous experience in a Readymix or aggregates environment, with knowledge of production processes and quality control.
- Full knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to multitask and manage change, with a focus on continuous improvement.
