In your role as a Care Home Manager at Crofton Springs, our beautiful, brand new care residential home opening in Cheltenham in Autumn 2024, you will be responsible for building a kind and caring team that can support up to 66 local acuity elderly people to enjoy an independent and active lifestyle. You will take pride in caring with kindness and making everyone in the home feel at home. Everything you do will be focused on making Crofton Springs a vibrant community for people to live and your team to work in- from its high quality dining experiences to an all inclusive range of daily activities it will quickly become one of the most popular care homes within the community it serves.

Day to day your role will involve managing Crofton Springs as if it is your business - including marketing your home, building your local reputation and providing guidance and support for families looking for a care home. You will also train and mentor your team to help them assess, implement and evaluate care plans, delivering clinical guidance and ensure the safety of everyone living and working in the home by exceeding all relevant organisational, regulatory, legislative requirements.



To be successful in the role you will need strong leadership skills and experience of care home management. You'll recruit a like-minded team of kind care professionals to help you build a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment where people can enjoy living a full and active life.

You'll have either have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one. You will also have leadership experience of residential care teams, understand how to identify safeguarding issues, be able to conduct risk assessments and have the ability to seek advice and report concerns or escalate action where required. Above all, you will understand, value and be able to lead a kind, caring and genuinely person-led approach to across your team.
