Position: High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Hedge end
Salary Scale: £ £15.50 per Hour
Contract Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching assistant supporting class teacher and covering lessons during PPA time.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom activities as a High-Level Teaching Assistant.
- Provide targeted one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by teachers.
- Assist in preparing engaging learning materials and resources to enhance lesson effectiveness.
- Foster positive relationships with students to support their social and emotional development.
- Implement behavior support strategies in alignment with school policies to maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a High-Level Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated genuine passion for education and commitment to student well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff for student success.
