We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, adaptable and successful practitioner. We are seeking to recruit a passionate and outstanding teacher who is committed to putting children first; in the footsteps of St Chad. We have a shared style of leadership and encourage candidates who have an ability to work proactively to develop the learning opportunities for our children.

The successful candidate will have experience of the primary curriculum, have an excellent understanding of the expectations of learners and have the personal drive to achieve excellence.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Teaching position classroom based to support teaching and learning.

You will be responsible for:


• Deliver lessons of a consistently high standard and expectations.


• Be effective classroom practitioner

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• High level of written and oral communication skills


• Ability to form good relationships with parents


• Ability to co-ordinate a subject area

Responsibilities

Responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children that they are responsible for /come into contact with (section 3.27 Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in education publication).

Be prepared to volunteer information at interview stage relating to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. (section 3.28 Safeguarding Children and Safer recruitment in education publication).

Any other duties which are commensurate with the grading of the post.
