CONSENTS MANAGER (Onshore / Offshore)

Line Manager: Senior Development & Consents Manager

Responsible for: Consents/permits

Location: Stirling / Hybrid

Hours of Work: 35

Key Contacts: Regulators, Crown Estate Scotland, Ministers, Stakeholders, project partners and industry developers; consultants and contractors

Spencer Ogden is partnering with an established Scotwind developer to support the recruitment of an experienced Consents Manager to their development team in Scotland.

The candidate will support all aspects of development with a view of working on the entire project lifecycle including consenting, EIA, construction and operational phase consents.

Responsibilities:


• Oversee compliance, offshore consenting and environmental risk management throughout the development (EIA) phase.


• Execute and revise the consenting strategy, ensuring achievement of key milestones and adherence to budget constraints.


• Participate actively in Programme, Budget, and Risk Register processes


• Maintain the currency of essential project development documentation, including commitments register, budget trackers, risk register, and program schedules.


• Offer strategic counsel and direction on consenting strategies and compliance matters to the team and project stakeholders.


• Collaborate with Grid Manager and facilitate discussions on grid connection matters.


• Manage consultants and legal resources as necessary.

Requirements:


• Min 3 years in offshore wind industry with consents and development


• Experience with the regulatory regime in Scotland


• Desirable experience working on floating offshore wind projects


• Experience in using GIS software
