Overview:
Are you an expert in Sage 200 systems seeking to leverage your skills in a dynamic and innovative switchgear manufacturing environment? My client is looking for a dedicated Systems Manager to develop, optimize, and customize their Sage/SICON 200 system to drive operational efficiency and streamline our business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
System Analysis and Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing Sage 200 system configurations.

System Development and Customization:

  • Customize and optimize Sage 200/SICON modules, focusing on:

    • Sales Order Processing

  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and workflows to enhance decision-making and visibility.
  • Integrate Sage 200/SICON with other business systems for seamless data exchange and workflow automation.
  • Coordinate with external IT management partners to ensure system efficiency and optimal use.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure reliability and performance of system customizations and integrations.
  • Perform thorough testing of new features, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Gather feedback from end users and make necessary adjustments to enhance system usability and functionality.

Documentation and Training:

  • Prepare detailed documentation on system configurations, customizations, and workflows.
  • Provide training and support to end users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Sage 200 system capabilities.
  • Develop training materials and resources to facilitate user proficiency and adoption.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing and customizing Sage 200 systems, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, VBScript, or C#.
