Join Our Team – Young Carer Service Manager

We're looking for a manager of our services for children and young people. You will lead our Young Carers provision across Essex ensuring that the support we provide is effective and efficient, that team members feel motivated and supported and, most importantly, that Young Carers in Essex are safe, able to enjoy their childhood and can fulfil their potential. You will be a member of the Senior Management Team working closely with the Chief Executive Officer helping to steer the future direction of the charity.

About Us:

Action for Family Carers is a well-established Essex-based charity dedicated to supporting unpaid carers and young carers. We've been making a positive impact for over 30 years.

About You:

You are motivated by achieving a positive impact for children and young people and will have ideas about how best to achieve that. You are highly organised with excellent communication and management skills. You also understand the value of accurate data when demonstrating the impact of our services. Most importantly, you will share our vision, our values and our ambition to do more for local families.

What We Offer:

· Starting Salary: Band 8, £33,057 per annum FTE

· Contract: Permanent

· Hours: 35 hours per week - flexible days/hours by agreement

· Location: Brickhouse Farm, Poulton Close, Maldon, Essex, CM9 6NG - hybrid office/home working
