Overview
An exciting organisation coming out of Wolverhampton have approached Mitchell Adam for assistance in their search for a talented Management Accountant. The organisation is in the heart of the city, and they provide some fantastic benefits including a lucrative study support package which would be hard to match elsewhere. The organisation has become a staple of the local manufacturing industry and have recently acquired another business in the industry. Due to this acquisition and positive growth, they are now seeking to bring on an experienced Management Accountant work collaboratively with their Senior Finance Manager. This role will include being an integral part of the budgeting and forecasting process and producing comprehensive reports for senior management. There is an option to work in a hybrid working style in this position, alongside flexible start and finish times.

This organisation has won plaudits in its sector for its sustainable business practices, they have strong values in regard to the environment and often aim to try and reduce their carbon footprint in their production processes. This care for the environment translates into care for their employees. They focus on their employee welfare and regularly have group social events to reward their staff for their hard work, this includes trips to London to visit their other branch and an evening in the capital. The role will consist of you producing the management accounts for the team, with the assistance of the Assistant Management Accountant who will be able to help with reconciliations and journals.
Skills Required
  • To have a strong level of experience being involved with month end responsibilities such as conducting detailed variance analysis. It would be advantageous to be able to prepare and produce monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as annual budgets and monthly management reporting.
  • Be actively studying your ACCA/CIMA qualification with a clear drive to complete your studies. As in this role there will be a study support package provided.
  • To be confident and charismatic, in this role it is key to be a confident communicator as you will be liaising with key stakeholders regarding complex data and financial queries.
