Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare management accounts and detailed board report schedules to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting efforts aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Supervise revenue recognition processes with thorough documentation for optimized financial performance.
  • Manage PE and investor reporting, fostering transparent stakeholder communication.
  • Provide regular insights into working capital, including cash flow management and debtors, to ensure financial stability.
  • Handle tax obligations including PAYE, VAT, and CT, in addition to statutory accounts preparation and audit processes.
  • Initiate continuous improvement projects to enhance reporting mechanisms and operational efficiency.
  • Set a leadership example, promoting a culture of excellence while guiding and developing the finance team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Financial Controller showcasing strong financial leadership skills.
  • Hold ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualifications.
  • Experience in investor reporting is beneficial, demonstrating expertise in managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling for informed decision-making and precise forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.
