LAE Tottenham opened in September 2017 and has over 700 students on roll as of September 2023. It is an academically selective 16-19 free school harnessing the support of nine independent schools to offer unrivalled educational opportunities to the most ambitious and motivated 16-19 year olds from Haringey and beyond.

Chrysalis East aims to reduce inequalities in progression to highly-selective universities for students across Tottenham. Working in partnership across a network of local schools, this new programme includes academic enrichment, university preparation and careers guidance.

The role combines subject specialist classroom teaching with a range of outreach and enrichment activities supporting local partner schools. Partnership teachers are based at LAE Tottenham but also work across our partner secondary schools – Duke's Aldridge Academy, Gladesmore Community School, Park View School and Woodside High School, designing and delivering innovative and inspiring sessions that achieve our mission. The programme extends to reach primary school students.

The successful applicant will have exceptional subject knowledge and work within the Maths department to inspire aspirational and motivated students and support them to achieve outstanding outcomes.

This role may be suitable for a teacher looking to build their A Level experience in Maths and keen to work with motivated and academic students at LAE Tottenham and our local feeder schools.

Pay dependent on experience, in the range £35,952 to £53,059 using the LAE Tottenham pay scale.

This is a full time position.
