These roles are perfect for surveyors wanting to gain more experience in building pathology and expert witness work, focusing on housing disrepair and large loss surveying among other disciplines.

Role Description

This is a remote position for a MRICS or FRICS Building Surveyor on a freelance basis. Responsibilities include inspecting properties, conducting surveys, assessing defects, and producing repair specifications. You will work independently with the support of a team.

Qualifications

  • Hold an MRICS or FRICS professional designation.
  • Have extensive experience in Building Surveying.
  • Working knowledge of HHSRS and the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985.
  • Experience in producing repair specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple iOS devices, comfortable with remote work technology.
