Freelance Building Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team on a freelance basis. As a MRICS or FRICS surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, assessing defects, and producing repair specifications for a range of properties nationwide.

Our client has developed a cutting-edge, iOS-based software that enables concise information to be captured during site visits, reducing the need for lengthy reports and Scott Schedules. This innovative approach allows you to focus on providing expert witness services and building pathology expertise, with opportunities to build your portfolio in housing disrepair, large loss surveying, and related disciplines.

As a freelance surveyor, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and choose your own projects. Our client offers non-conditional fee agreements, ensuring you receive a full fee for every survey. You will also have access to comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in this role.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Inspecting properties and conducting surveys
  • Assessing defects and producing repair specifications
  • Providing expert witness services and building pathology expertise


Requirements:
  • MRICS or FRICS qualification
  • Extensive experience in building surveying
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple iOS devices
  • Comfortable working remotely
