Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (PM / Nights)

Locations: Enfield, Barking, Dagenham, London docklands, London City, Radlett, Park Royal, Southall

Employment Type: Temp (on-going)

Job Description:

  • Trunking work, depot to depot, swapping trailers.
  • Driving doubledecker trailer.
  • No loading/unloading
  • Maximum 2 drops per day.
  • Start times between 12:00 21:00, must be flexible.
  • Traveling to various depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles according to company and legal guidelines.
  • Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
  • Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence and clean driving record.
  • Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
  • Proven experience in a similar role minimum 1 year.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.

PAY RATES

  • UMBRELLA PAYE rates: Monday to Friday £22.50/h, Overtime £27.00/h, Saturday £25.50/h, Sunday £26.50/h, Bank Holiday £36.00/h
  • PAYE rates: Monday-Friday Midweek £18.50/h, Overtime £23.00/h, Saturday £21.50/h, Sunday £23.50/h, Bank Holiday £28.00/h
