Role Overview:
- Engage in trunking operations, moving goods between depots and exchanging trailers.
- Operate double-decker trailers.
- No loading or unloading responsibilities.
- Limit of two deliveries per day.
- Flexible start times ranging from 12:00 to 21:00.
- Travel to various depots as required.
Key Duties:
- Safely drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Execute scheduled deliveries and collections efficiently.
- Ensure the secure transport of all goods.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Full UK Driving Licence with a clean driving history.
- Valid CPC and Tacho Card required.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as necessary.
