Description

  • Focus on end- end procurement mainly on IT and professional services categories.
  • Oversee and manage all procurement activities within the organisation
  • Develop and implement robust procurement strategies
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and value
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring they are aligned with organisation goals
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
  • Identify and manage potential risks within the supply chain
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities to senior management

Profile

A successful Interim Senior Procurement Lead should have:

  • Previously worked at a Head of Procurement level ideally as an interim consultant. You would have a strong understanding of IT and professional service categories at a senior level
  • Experience in a leadership role within procurement
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse data and use it to make informed decisions
  • Experience working in the not-for-profit sector
