Starting in September and lasting for the duration of the academic year, this Primary Teaching Assistant role is based at a wonderful Primary School in New Addington and will allow you to get fully immersed within day-to-day life of a busy, vibrant Primary School; learning from Outstanding Teachers each and every day.

Primary Teaching Assistant: Job Summary
Primary Teaching Assistant – popular Primary School in New Addington, CroydonSupporting KS1 and KS2 students on a 1:1 and small group basisInclusive Primary School, very popular in the local areaFull-time, long-term Primary Teaching Assistant rolePay: £475-£525 per week, paid on a PAYE basis each FridayIncredible opportunity for an aspiring Primary TeacherTeacher Training opportunities available from September 2025Training and Induction provided and regular CPD sessions availableAs a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and whole-class support for pupils of all abilities, including some pupils who have SEN. You will work very closely with Class Teachers and be expected to confidently deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to drive up attainment levels within literacy and numeracy. You will monitor pupil progress and encourage social skills.
