Job Title: Primary School Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons for Year 1 students, assessing and monitoring student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment, promoting a culture of mutual respect and trust.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support students in achieving their full potential.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance student outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies to ensure high-quality instruction.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 1 students.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of child development and learning theories, ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and proficiency in using educational technology in the classroom.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Specialized Skills: Experience with phonics teaching and early literacy development.
