Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products are manufactured according to the customer specification with regards to quality, food safety, legality and product integrity.

Your day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Implementation of the Food Safety and Quality policies and proceduresTrend non-conformance findings to identify root cause for prevention of reoccurrence including via GMP auditing, customer complaints, micro results and internal non-conformances Promoting and driving food safety and quality cultureHACCP – identify risks and implement controls prior to the introduction of new products, processes, equipment or raw materials Leading on the technical aspect of NPD in preparation for new product launchesLead, motivate and coach the QC/QA team to achieve continuous improvementDriving Technical KPI standards and communicating findings to enhance best practice across the businessEscalating any relevant issues with the Senior Quality Manager

Essential:

Minimum of 3 years in a similar role gained within food manufacturing (FMCG), preferably within a chilled short shelf life environment Internal Auditor training and experienceDemonstrable track record of delivering a high standard of work to agreed deadlines and an ability to work under pressureGood written and verbal communicationDesired: A food related qualification, ideally to HNC/HND/Degree level in Food Science or equivalentHACCP Level 3 or aboveGood understanding and experience of BRC requirements.
