About The Role

This is a Fixed Term position for 3 years working 35 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be based in a thriving mental health research team with over £40M in joint funding over the last five years and a portfolio of projects. The team is led by Prof. Ann John and focuses on child and adolescent mental health and suicide and self-harm prevention. Prof. Ann John is chair of the National Advisory Group on suicide and self-harm prevention to Welsh Government, member of SAGE and Trustee of the Samaritans and co-director of DATAMIND, the Health Data Research UK Hub for Mental Health.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team to manage the DATAMIND project, which has been successful in securing funding for a further 5 years to continue to work towards its long-term vision to transform mental health research across the four nations. The successful applicant will work alongside partners Project Managers and the Comms & Engagement Officer and Project Administrator to ensure the project delivers its objectives within the agreed timescales and budgets.

The post-holder will have experience in managing and successfully delivering multi-partnered projects, ideally within the field of Mental Health research and will involve a wide range of project management tasks, including close collaboration with external stakeholders across the four nations, the MQ Mental Health Research and the McPin Foundation charities and data scientists.
