Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for maintaining proactive communication with customers via phone and email to ensure timely payments according to authorized terms and targets. The role involves monitoring credit limits, conducting credit limit reviews, updating accounts, reconciling when necessary, and managing contract monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain proactive contact with customers for timely payments
- Monitor and adhere to credit limits
- Update accounts and perform regular housekeeping
- Monitor and manage credit status and risks
- Drive down aged debt and improve DSO figures
- Resolve customer queries promptly
- Produce debtors reports and present results
- Assist with sales administration and support credit control team members
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
- Prior experience in Credit Control
- Detail-oriented and focused
- Self-motivated with multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel
