We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Wrap Around Care Leader to work with a number of our children before and after school each night. The role will commence September 2024. Hours are approximately 20 per week (negotiable) Our provision runs before and after school, and we are happy to hear from applicants wishing to job share this role.
The role includes supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up fun activities for children to take part in, meeting and greet parents at handover time and providing them with feedback on their child's time at the club.
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver safe activities relevant to the age of the children
- Work on his/her own initiative and use common sense
- Have the skill to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, verbally and in writing
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Work effectively in a team
- Demonstrate emotional resilience
- Have the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people
- Demonstrate drive, passion and a sense of humour
