Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Chefs and Back of House staff
  • Supervise kitchen team members
  • Hands-on involvement in kitchen operations
  • Handle accounts, maintain margins, and nurture client relationships
  • Manage orders, stock, and waste
  • Plan menus for events
  • Utilize Aramark systems for operations
  • Supervise production processes
  • Manage payroll, schedules, and holiday cover
  • Conduct daily checks and paperwork efficiently
  • Follow menu cycles and prepare dishes
  • Support culinary team in delivering quality food
  • Prepare and cook various dishes as per recipes
  • Ensure proper food storage as per safety guidelines
  • Monitor costs and prepare end-of-month reports
  • Keep staff training updated and delegate daily tasks

Requirements

  • DBS check required
  • Previous kitchen management and cooking experience essential
  • Prior experience in team management and KPI tracking
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene certification preferred
  • Confident and experienced chef and leader
  • Familiarity with systems a plus, training provided for the right candidate
