The role:

Would you describe yourself as a creative and ambitious Oracle Pre-Sales Consultant who is always ready to take on the next challenge using the latest cutting-edge Oracle technology? This is a crucial role initially leading the co-ordination and submission of a proposal for an EU Public Sector client's Oracle Estate Transformation. This position requires excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to create compelling and competitive proposals to manage the transformation of Oracle estates. This position is remote, but will require both remote and on-site presence in the Netherlands during generation of the initial proposal.

Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

  • Lead and shape the ongoing development of the engagement, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisational goals as proposals are developed.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, solution architects, consultants and subject matter experts to gather relevant information, confirm roles and responsibilities of different parties/stakeholders and incorporate them into the proposal.

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements, timelines, and resource needs for proposal development.
  • Manage proposal timelines, ensuring that all milestones are met, and deliverables are submitted on time in line with the currently agreed close plan.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of the proposal to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure that the proposed solution aligns with industry best practices and standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with sales, technical teams, third parties and management/executives to gather input and insights for proposal development.
  • Facilitate review meetings to incorporate updates and feedback, manage expectations and ensure all stakeholders are aligned.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of Oracle database products and migration of databases from on-premise to modern, hybrid cloud solutions is critical.
  • Experience of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is essential.
  • Exposure to Oracle Middleware products and Oracle licensing would be beneficial.

Requirements:

You should have experience in the following areas:

  • Several years' experience of Oracle Bid and Solution Management.
  • Strong Oracle Modern Best Practice process skills.
  • Proven track record of working in a similar role as an Oracle Pre Sales Lead.
  • Initiating and driving change, with a strong desire to achieve results.

The candidate should demonstrate:

  • Attention to detail with a pragmatic and enthusiastic attitude to work.
  • Self-starter with good team communications skills.
