Job Title: Quality Leader - Communications and Engagement

Location: Barrow - In - Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £45,628 + dependant on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading on all aspects of both internal and external communications
  • Develop a Communications and Engagement strategy to manage a diverse range of messaging and audiences i.e. Conferences, Workshops, Newsletters, Themed campaigns, World Quality Week, video and media messaging
  • Identify opportunities for engagement with a range of stakeholders at local and group level including Quality Council, STEM, Community projects and events
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing communication for the Quality function
  • Hosting events
  • Develop a strategy to introduce automated systems to manage all aspects of communication and engagement
  • You'll also have people manager responsibilities in this role

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience in developing and delivering strategy within teams and functions
  • Excellent people and communication management capabilities
  • Experience of Event Management and presenting

Desirable:

  • Experience of Quality is beneficial or similar experience of functions such as Project Management
  • Appreciation of systems, technology and data management
  • Project Management Qualification desirable

Quality, People and Capabilityteam:

This role is part of the Quality Function that looks after all internal and external communications. You will work closely with all Heads of Quality, Functional governance, central and group communications. Your focus will be on developing forward-thinking strategies for a world class communication. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
