Working for a Microbiology company that makes products that help make the world a healthier, cleaner and safer place. Working as a Process Operator within a manufacturing environment, you will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern alternating between 06:00-14:00 one week and 14:00-22:00 the following week. In this role you'll be a significant member of a fast paced and highly diverse organisation that is accountable for all aspects of manufacturing and packaging Dehydrated Culture Media products.
Responsibilities:
Report unsafe or unethical practises immediately through the appropriate channels.
Proactively strive to eliminate unsafe situations or practices observed with department.
Play an active role within daily departmental meetings.
Monitor track and regularly report to your supervisor/manager on your daily goals. Effectively engage in regular performance and development conversations and act on feedback. Understand the performance metrics, safety metrics and practices for your team. Updating stock management system (SAP) following the completion of allocated tasks. Allocate materials to process orders using t (SAP)
Lead routine stock checks for the department and accurate levels when appropriate.
Maintain your own training records within company quality management system (Master Control).
Provide training to new and developing members of staff and conduct proficiency reviews.
Follow defined process to build a batch manufacturing record, print labels, use accurate materials and equipment to build the required product.
Conduct GMP & GDP reviews of batch manufacturing records.
Experience, Skills & Abilities required.

Has good literacy and numeracy skills, demonstrates good attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, record data accurately and is happy using a computer including e-mail.
Manufacturing experience would be an advantage.
