Iconic Resourcing are delighted to bring a Financial Accountant opportunity as we are working closely with our International clients in Renfrewshire. This role will report into the Finance Manager and you will support 3 groups in the business and deliver accurate and timely results in the accounting and reporting team.

Duties and Responsibilities

The US GAAP end to end financials across a number of EMEA legal entitiesProfit and loss account and balance sheet trends and variancesReview and approval activities at month end, including high risk journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsGeneral ledger activity, researching and correcting account discrepanciesBalance sheet deep dives and present outcomes to stakeholdersPoint of contact for internal stakeholdersThe timeliness of financial reporting for the EMEA regionMonthly business reviews with stakeholdersParticipate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement) initiatives, including Gemba Walks, Just Do Its, Kaizen events, and daily Tier managementA variety of special projects as and when requested Skills and Experience Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA)Able to organise and prioritise multiple complex situations Accuracy is required in performing all aspects of the roleHigh level of proactivity to drive continuous improvementDeep technical accounting expertiseStrong investigative, analytical and problem solving skillsComfortable communicating with and presenting to various stakeholdersSolid understanding of US GAAP (Desired but not crucial)Excellent interpersonal skills to interact at various levels inside and outside the organisationProficient in MS Excel If you think you have the experience that we are looking for we would love to hear from you.
