This apprenticeship would suit someone interested in helping people from diverse backgrounds find career opportunities through youth outreach events, early career programmes or working with schools.

If you are looking for an opportunity to gain work experience and a qualification, then an apprenticeship at Channel 4 might be for you. These apprenticeships are aimed at school leavers and people who do not have a degree (full eligibility criteria below).

Our Apprenticeships are full-time, with four days per week spent working in a C4 department and one day per week completing the formal learning parts of the apprenticeship. You'll spend 60% of your working week in your office base and 40% working from home. The formal training provided will consist of workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and in some cases residential boot camps. 4Skills is our training and development initiative that brings together all of our existing training schemes across C4. This on-going programme is focussed on finding and nurturing talent from the Nations and Regions with the aim of attracting people into broadcasting and production from diverse backgrounds. 4Skills will address skills gaps and also play a key role in progressing the careers of those already in the industry. This role sits within the People Team and will support on a variety of current schemes and new initiatives that support our '4Skills' vision, working closely with our 4Skills colleagues based in the National HQ in Leeds. The wider People Team supports the 3 business areas within the channel (Creative, Commercial, Operations) and the Early Careers Apprentice will support with each of these areas, across all C4 locations, by delivering Apprenticeship and early career programmes that help people start their careers in the media industry.

This role will be based in the London HQ where you'll support on the delivery of our 4Skills programmes that help young people gain experiences at C4 or via one of our events or outreach programmes. This apprenticeship would suit someone who is interested in working on apprenticeships, early career programmes, youth outreach events or working with schools, but most importantly you'll need to be passionate about helping people from diverse backgrounds find career opportunities.
