An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger to join a not-for-profit organisation, specialising in the accurate processing and timely payment of invoices. This role is based in Bradford, within the Accounting and Finance Department.

Description

  • Accurate processing and timely payment of invoices
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Handling supplier queries
  • Assisting with month-end closing
  • Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
  • Adhering to financial regulations and standards
  • Collaborating with the wider Accounting and Finance team

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger should have:

  • A strong understanding of purchase ledger processes
  • Experience working in the Accounting and Finance sector
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A team player attitude
