Goodman Masson are partnered with a well-established London based housing association who are searching for an Interim Finance Director to join them on a 12 month basis.

An exciting opportunity reporting into the CEO which requires someone with proven leadership capabilities to navigate the team through the upcoming growth and provide strategic leadership to support the board. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a large and complex social housing organisation.

Core responsibilities will include:

Implementation of long-term strategic initiatives across finance functionProvide financial leadership and strategic management advice to C-suite teamEnsuring robust controls are in place to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulationsDevelop and implement transparent reporting capabilities for financial, budgeting and performance with full oversight of theseDevelop and implement internal financial system controls for full integrity of all financial transactionsLead on annual financial planning, budgeting and forecastingProviding reports and requested due diligence information to the Board as requiredPresent, review and monitor business financial plans to C-suite team Essentials: Fully qualified in ICAEW/ACCAMUST have experience within Social Housing at this levelStrong proven leadership experience and success in a strategically important specialist areaExcellent knowledge of accounting principles; theory and practiceStrong proven experience of contributing to strategic planning process and developing innovative solutions If this role is of interest and you have the relevant desired experience as stated above, please get in touch In our company values we aim for equity at all stages of the recruitment process, please let us know if we can do anything to make the process more accessible to you.
