Teacher of Languages

Job Title: Teacher of Languages (Ability to teach Spanish at Key Stage 3 and 4, with French or German as additional language)

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Languages who is dedicated and keen to join our hard working and supportive Languages team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher with high expectations and they should possess the imagination, energy and skill to help craft their curriculum. They will have the ability to motivate and inspire pupils and possess the necessary drive and determination to further improve an already successful department.

We are looking to appoint an excellent practitioner who is a passionate and dynamic teacher of Languages with the ability to teach across the age and ability range at both Key Stage 3 and 4. You will join a well-resourced department and will facilitate and encourage learning which enables students to achieve high standards. The department consists of committed team players all keen to play their part and support their colleagues. We plan collaboratively and support each other to achieve our best. You should have:

· A real passion for teaching and learning in Languages

· The ability to inspire, challenge and motivate pupils along with the ability to manage behaviour

· Evidence of examination and/ or TAG/ CAG success (N/A for ECTs)

· A willingness to contribute to the school and multi academy trust at all levels

· A willingness to be supportive of the Languages Department drive to enable all students to achieve their full potential.
