The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. While this is a senior position, the ideal candidate will be hands-on and cover all aspects of merchandising.

You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and optimizing product assortments across wholesale, retail, and marketplace accounts in the UK, Europe, and the US.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies that align with company goals.

Participate in performing competitor research to identify emerging trends, consumer needs, across the UK, Europe, and the US.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product assortments and ensure cohesive brand representation.


Inventory Management:


Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing overstock and out of stocksUtilise data analysis to forecast demand and manage the replenishment process.

Implement inventory control measures and strategies to enhance inventory turnover and minimise terminal stock.

Sales and Performance Analysis:
Monitor sales performance and analyse key metrics to identify opportunities for growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews and develop action plans to address underperforming categories.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends, insights, and recommendations.

Analysing commercial information as required for strategic and product planning meetings, leveraging sales analysis, and reporting to make commercial decisions.


Wholesale, Retail, and Marketplace Management:


Manage and grow wholesale, retail, and marketplace accounts across the UK, Europe, and the US.Develop tailored merchandising strategies for each market to drive sales and profitability.

Ensure consistency and brand integrity across all channels and regions.

Maintaining and growing strong trading relationships with our customersOnboarding New Customers:
Evaluate new customers to understand their needs and optimise trading terms for mutual profitability.
Provide support with negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to secure the best possible deals.
Manage onboarding critical path for new customer launches, ensuring they are aligned with Company goalsHands
  • On Merchandising Tasks:Oversee product listings, descriptions, and images across all sales channels.
Coordinate product launches and promotions, ensuring timely execution.
Handle day-to-day merchandising tasks, including order management and customer inquiries.

Key Skills Needed:
Educated to degree level preferred5+ years of experience in merchandising, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis, statistical analysis and data modelling.

Strong Excel skills and a data driven analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis.

Proficiency in maintaining Excel based WSSI's and line cardsExperience using BI tools would be advantageousExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
