About the Role

The Chief Scientist / Head of AI is a key member of the LNIP Technology Leadership Team.

The Chief Scientist / Head of AI primary responsibility is to drive the strategic vision of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives across the organization ensuring the AI strategies align with organizational goals.

The Chief Scientist / Head of AI will play a crucial role in ensuring that AI technologies are leveraged effectively and ethically to achieve our AI value creation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and communicating a clear AI strategy aligned with the overall vision and goals.
  • Identifying opportunities where AI can enhance enterprise services processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.
  • Leading from the front as a hands-on subject matter expert, architecting and crafting scalable solutions, and driving data excellence across the organization
  • Defining best AI/ML driven practices and AI lifecycle
  • Collaborating with other executives, including the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Managing Director, Product, Customer Success Leader, GTM Leader, and external customers to integrate AI into the overall technology roadmap.
  • Ensuring that AI solutions adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Promoting transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI decision-making.
  • Communicating AI initiatives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Evaluating and recommending AI tools, platforms, and frameworks for adoption.
  • Assessing risks associated with AI implementation, including bias, security, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Hold either a master's degree in computer technology, physics, math or similar field of study preferred or relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrate experience in leading AI projects and teams.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning.
  • Possess experience with cloud-based AI services and platforms.
  • Have knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to AI (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Have the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and vision skills
