About the role

You will be part of the Consumer Finance & Strategy team. We partner with the Consumer Tech & Marketing organisation to create great customer experiences that make commercial sense. You will report to Senior Finance Strategy Manager. As a Finance & Strategy partner, you will become an expert in the strategy, economics and financial implications of your area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with a variety of non-finance partners in the heart of the business, whilst overseeing some traditional finance tasks like controllership and reporting.

We operate a hybrid model, working at least 3 days a week in the office in Cannon Street, London.

What you'll do

Partnering with main decision makers, you and your team will provide analytical driven insight which supports decision-making and understand the P&L impact of these decisions. You will report to a Senior Finance & Strategy Manager also work with partners to determine strategic programmes to lead the long-term growth of the business and model the impact of those programmes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, and has analytical capabilities.

Your role will involve:
  • Understand and influence the causes of performance to help build the top and bottom line
  • Scenario modelling and business casing for multiple programs and layering this into financial planning
  • Provide proactive, high-quality analysis to support decision-making (e.g. pricing)
  • Partner with the teams to create and appraise appropriate strategies for their respective areas and support delivery of the business strategy and long-range plans.
  • Focus on business partnering with Functional Leaders/ Vice Presidents or Country General Managers and their teams
    Requirements:
    • You will be a highly analytical, structured thinker, capable of solving difficult, ambiguous problems
    • You will be highly articulate, capable of communicating complex arguments in simple language
    • You will be technically competent, comfortable in large spreadsheet-based financial models
    • You will have good business sense, ideally experience in Consumer businesses
    • You are humble, patient yet hungry for driving improvement and take ownership with minimal level of guidance
    • You hold yourself accountable to deliver results while being comfortable getting your hands dirty to get the job done. You demonstrate the whatever it takes attitude required to work in a dynamic company
    • 5-10 years relevant experience
