Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have experience in first-level support. This role is perfect for someone looking to work in a dynamic environment with the potential for long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for end-user computing (EUC) environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Manage and support desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain documentation and provide regular updates on support activities.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of Microsoft 365 applications.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in first-level support.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with service desk tools and technologies.
  • Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and security practices.

Working Conditions:

  • Preferred on-site presence in Liverpool for 5 days per week.
  • Flexible working arrangements considered to attract the right candidate.
  • No out of hours or shift work required.
