Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have experience in first-level support. This role is perfect for someone looking to work in a dynamic environment with the potential for long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for end-user computing (EUC) environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and support desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain documentation and provide regular updates on support activities.
- Assist in the deployment and management of Microsoft 365 applications.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in first-level support.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with service desk tools and technologies.
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals and security practices.
Working Conditions:
- Preferred on-site presence in Liverpool for 5 days per week.
- Flexible working arrangements considered to attract the right candidate.
- No out of hours or shift work required.
