We are seeking a enthusiastic and confident individual to support the Apprenticeship programmes within the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment.
This is a one year fixed term, part time 0.5 FTE position (18.5 hours per week) starting in November 2024, based on Headington Campus/ Online.
Overall purpose of the post:
To take a lead role in supporting apprentices (both online and in-person) within the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment. Working closely with employers and partners across the UK to monitor apprentice performance and the impact of learning in the workplace. Overseeing the provision of a high level of service and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Managing detailed administrative processes keeping accurate auditable records, using Oxford Brookes' electronic systems for quality assurance and compliance. Providing advice and support to Faculty colleagues to ensure adherence to University and Apprenticeship regulatory procedures and policies.
This is fast-paced and diverse role within the Faculty's Apprenticeship team supporting postgraduate apprentices across subject areas which include Architecture, Planning and Engineering.
Qualifications required:
Applicants should be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or have equivalent sector experience.
Experience required for the post:
Experience in a learner-facing role within higher or further education. Excellent communication and problem solving skills with demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven experience in taking a proactive role and managing detailed administrative processes. Demonstrable understanding of educational compliance and quality assurance processes.
