Netball Coach Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Netball Coach to join our team at St Edward's School. As a Netball Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching to students of varying abilities and ages, from beginners to performance level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver enthusiastic and inspiring coaching to students, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement coaching plans to meet the needs of students, including those with varying abilities and ages.
  • Umpire at least one fixture every week, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the School's Health & Safety and Child Protection policies.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective coaching programme.
  • Contribute to the development of the Netball Club, including planning and delivering pre-season training and fixtures.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of technical and tactical strategies in netball coaching.
  • Previous experience of coaching a range of abilities and ages.
  • Previous experience of playing netball to a high standard.
  • Previous experience of group coaching.

What We Offer:

We offer a part-time, fixed-term contract until the 28th March 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team of coaches and staff, and to contribute to the development of the Netball Club.
