Responsibilities

Plan and deliver lessons that align with the national curriculum, making science exciting and accessible to studentsInspire and motivate students to develop a love for science through hands-on experiments and interactive activitiesAssess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvementCollaborate with other teachers to create cross-curricular projects and enhance the learning experienceEstablish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and empathyCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns or issuesStay updated on the latest advancements in science education and implement innovative teaching methodologies

Requirements

A degree in a science-related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)Previous experience teaching science at the primary or secondary levelExcellent knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual studentsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleaguesPassionate about science education and committed to providing high-quality teachingWell-organized and able to effectively manage time and resourcesA track record of creating engaging lesson plans and delivering interactive and hands-on activities
