Smile Education, Northwest is currently recruiting for a full-time Caretaker (with an enhanced DBS) for a secondary school based in Bury.

What does the role involve?
Locking and unlocking the buildings, as required.Assisting users with setting up facilities such as chairs, tables etc.Dealing efficiently with pre-planned maintenance, day to day establishmentrequirements and problems that may arise.Undertaking minor repairs to fixtures and fittings.Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained to the required standard.Grounds maintenance.Assisting with the organisation of school refurbishments.Porterage around the school sites.Monitoring the premises for any hazards, carrying out repairs or reportingproblems, where necessary.Ensuring that all stakeholders adhere to the school's Health and SafetyPolicies and Procedures.
What do you need?

Relevant experience with the roleMust have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service Able and willing to travel to the area2 education-based referencesA passion for supporting.Good approach to behaviour managementA determined, hard-working attitude
Immediate start is available.
The school can offer you security with the role.
School hours: shifts of 6 am-2 pm one week and 11 am-7 pm the next week, occasional weekend work and occasional later finishes as required.
