Graduate Electronics Engineer
Harrogate, 26-30k DOE, work with robotics, temp to perm role, immediate start.

Excellent opportunity for an electronics or robotics graduate to work within NPD initially undertaking prototyping, build, reworking and testing in an interesting and fast-paced environment.
Long term the role will lead to a permanent opportunity in product development of PCB' s and firmware within a multi-disciplinary team.

The role:
Build and assemble electromechanical equipment to customer specifications
Rework, fault-finding and repair to component level
Some electrical assembly and repair of cable insertion systems
Mechanical strip down and assembly
Final test and quality inspection for products
Electronics schematics and design both PCB and firmware
Develop specifications and implement test plans to validate the functionality and reliability of designs
Ensure that all designs meet the company's quality and reliability standards
Debug and integration on a range of inspection and robotics products

The person:
BEng or MEng or equivalent in Electronics, Robotics or similar
Strong practical skills in soldering, wiring, assembly
Debugging and fault-finding
knowledge of PCB schematics and layouts, designing and testing PCB boards
Knowledge of embedded microprocessors and power electronics
Firmware programming knowledge
