Our department is celebrated for its pioneering work in dermatological and gastrointestinal pathology, nationally and internationally recognised for our contributions to colorectal cancer research and the bowel cancer screening programme. Our expanding Molecular Pathology Service is at the forefront of innovation. The integration of digital pathology into our diagnostic workstreams is due to go live imminently with our partners in our West of England Pathology Network and will provide benefits for patients and staff including opportunities for home working within job plans.
